But just when you feel like shouting out aloud " Get on with it... PLEASE !! ", some action kicks in....kicking being the appropriate word here as " Nick " ( Jason Statham's character in the film ) does NOT use anything so crude as guns, relying on other things like his fists, head, knees, legs and feet.... aside from ashtrays, credit cards, a butter knife and...a spoon. Remarkably effectively too. That's the upside to the film but the down sides far outweigh them and the ending comes mid yawn....Staham does what Staham does 'cos he's good at it....and that goes for his character AND JT himself. The baddie is a pantomime villain, played with much gusto and menace unlike his lumbering cartoon henchmen who line up to be knocked over and out like nine pins by our athletic hero. All the women are there as plot fillers and easily forgettable as this film will be within days of you seeing it. Come on Jason.....find yourself something challenging to do and leave aside such mundane offerings like this.Malcolmhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06588651450833104617noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8722156046959507081.post-24119664296207769712015-01-30T17:35:04.917-08:002015-01-30T17:35:04.917-08:00Yeah, shame the script isn't stronger but rela...Yeah, shame the script isn't stronger but relax, kick back and enjoy the sights and spending time with The StathJon Crosshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16479276261361962098noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8722156046959507081.post-75425127599097283282015-01-30T17:22:26.216-08:002015-01-30T17:22:26.216-08:00cracking review, just makes me want to see it more...cracking review, just makes me want to see it more, which i shall be doing soon.
